ABOUT ME
If you are here, probably, it is because you need me, so let me introduce myself.
My name is Giovanna Perna and I am an Interior Designer.
I graduated in 2008 in "Interior Architecture and Equipment" to "La Sapienza" of Rome, in the historical school of Architecture "Valle Giulia". After graduation I attended and supported several exams in "Scenography and Equipment", for about a year. Starting to work at the same time to my studies, I decided to put aside the latter to fully devote myself to job and make real what I acquired during the degree program.
For almost six years I worked for a company that sells and products wooden furniture, specializing in the contract supply. Within it, in fact, I was involved in interior design related to private residences, government offices, universities, commercial spaces, reception facilities and hospitality, as well as the design of the individual elements of wooden furniture.
After these years of working experience, now I'm a freelance Interior Designer. The definition is rather restrictive as it is difficult to categorize in Design.
To simplify, I deal with interior and exterior design, retail furniture and everything related to the graphics world.
Leitmotiv of all my experiences is the approach to the project: a treasure chest, personalized and distinctive, that welcomes functionality, aesthetics and customer expectations.
A thought of the designer Marian Bantjesrepresents me a lot:
“But I find that for myself, without exception, the more I
deal with the work as something that is my own, as something that is personal, the more successful it is”.
